TO APPLY
Enrollment Information:
Heartland Christian College operates on a semester basis with summer
block courses offered. Starting dates for the 2008-2009 school year
are as follows:
Summer Classes 2008
Block Classes June 2-July 23
Fall Semester 2008
Registration August 11
Boot Camp Orientation Week August 11-16; Classes Begin August 18
Spring Semester 2009
Orientation Day January 5; Classes Begin January 6
Application/Registration Procedure

or request materials by mail or email.

1. Complete application in full.
2. Obtain reference questionnaire from pastor or a leader in home
church.
3. Interview with Admissions Staff team member.
4. Submit completed application and health form with $50 registration
fee (this fee will be waived if application is received at least one
week prior to the registration deadline).
5. Request high school to send an official copy of high school transcript
to the Registrar.
6. Request a copy of ACT scores to be sent to the Registrar.
7. Request official transcripts from any other educational institution
attended.
8. Complete Student Financial Action Plan Agreement.
9. See that all materials are received by the Registrar by July 15
for fall semester and by November 15 for spring semester enrollment.
10. Write a short statement giving your personal testimony.
11. Attend HCC Orientation.
Admission Criteria
Students must meet the following criteria for admission to HCC:
· High school graduation or successful completion of the high
school equivalency examination (GED)
· ACT results submitted to registrar's office
· Completed application
· Interview with member of Academic Team; approval of Admissions
Committee
· Parental approval (waived for applicants 18 years or older)
Approval of Transfer Credit
Currently enrolled HCC students who wish to transfer course credit
to HCC from another institution of higher education are encouraged
to submit the following information for review by the Academic Team:
course description and outline, number of classroom instruction hours,
number of credit hours to be considered, and list of books or other
curriculum utilized in the course. No high school courses will be considered
for transfer credits.
VA applicant student's post-secondary transcripts will be reviewed
and evaluated for courses which are applicable to current course
objectives offered at HCC; said courses will be transferred and VA
notification given.
Registration Day
Student Registration Day is held on the opening day of school for the
fall semester's incoming students. Parents are encouraged to attend
in order to become better acquainted with the school, the student's
housing accommodations, and Heartland Academy Community Church. Parents
should make overnight arrangements with the Ozark Lodge at Heartland
in advance. If difficulties arise in securing housing arrangements,
please contact the Registrar's Office.
